One Day Left for the Book Sale!

A huge thank you to all who came out to support the Friends thirteenth annual book sale! There was quite a line up the stairwell outside the community room before the doors opened at 6pm on Friday night and the customers never stopped. Saturday was incredible and Sunday continued with tons of customers showing up to fill their bags.

Don’t forget – there’s one day left!

The book sale will be open during Haverford Township day on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 5pm (same hours as the library) for our last bag sale. Fill a bag for $6 and take home as many books as your bag can hold! We’re hoping the weather is gorgeous, but just in case it’s not, the book sale will be a great refuge. See you there!

The award was given as a part of the Legislative Breakfast and Awards Ceremony held in the Francis J. Catania Law Library at the top of the Media County Courthouse and we were recognized for providing the HTFL with much needed funds for events and programs as well as hosting our own programs such as the annual Garden Tour and Book Sales. The Friends are honored to receive this award and to be publicly recognized for all our hard work. Thank you!
